Ensuring that the installation integrity, reliability, availability and maintainability of the electrical systems and equipment and instrumented control and shutdown systems and equipment are optimised, so that performance standards are achieved in compliance with regulatory and production requirements. Completes routine maintenance audits, supports fault diagnosis, data quality input to maintenance history and provides technical support in the day to day activities including the installation of instrument electrical and electronic equipment defined to standards. ? Technical authority for all electrical drawing and single line diagrams ‘as-built’ to identify any modifications made to the equipment. ? We are looking to recruit an ‘Maintenance Engineer ' for a major Oil & Gas company in Oman. The Maintenance Engineer provides engineering support to those plant issues that are impacting production over a short period of time. In this role the engineer provides technical expertise which may be equipment based or repair technique based which impacts the availability and maintainability of the facility. An important aspect of the job is the coordination of unit activities with other units and facilities at the site. Candidates ideally should have overseas Middle East experience. The project is a $1.2bn onshore miscible gas project. This is only part of a big project. It will expand and become around $3.5bn over the next few years. The plant uses an Enhanced Oil recovery (EOR) method. The plant will operate at a gas injection pressure of 500bar, with associated oil processing facilities with high H2S. There are not many plants of this type or complexity in the world. Kashagan in Kazakhstan, being one of the others. Therefore the standard of personnel is important. Liase with Construction Team Leader regarding design innovation, cost reduction solutions and identify areas where suitable improvements can be made; challenging, where appropriate, the existing standards. Support and assist the Construction Team Leader, Project Engineers and Construction Engineers in their responsibilities/duties as described below:- Attend Kick Off Meetings. Attend Site visits when required. Prepare level 3 & 4 plans. Identification of specialist tool requirements Checking Status of material ordered by engineering Compilation of Consumable materials Preparing commissioning plans including worksite assistance Vocal point for engineering with regards to constructability Complete workpack Assist implementation as required 7 years experience in implementation/maintenance activities relating to offshore Oil/Gas or Petro/Chemical facilities Competent in use of appropriate codes of practices, standards and relevant sections of statutory documentation. Competent in use of design and assessment methods used within discipline. Competent in use of analytical methods used within discipline and aware of theoretical background for analysis programs. Competent in quality control requirements and quality assurance for engineering work. Competent in design safety/environmental requirements, procedures and responsibilities. Computer literate.

The position is to teach Electrical Submersible Pump (ESP) System Applications, and associated subjects. Training will be given but this is a challenging role for someone outwith this specialization. The position is primarily based in Aberdeen; however, periodic travel to countries within EARC is expected, as is  Assist in the design and?some travel to other regions. Main responsibilities:   Deliver technical training courses.?development of technical training courses.   Confer with management to determine technical training needs of the?  Assist the training?organization.
