CONTRACT PROCESS ENGINEERS, £25 TO £50PH LTD CO

London and the S East has seen a surge in demand for process engineers of all experience levels up to Lead/Principal level as a consequence of numerous new awards for engineering studies, FEED’s and full EPC programmes. Both process study houses and major contractors have benefited from this step change and as a consequence excellent opportunities for long term, lucrative contract work abound. Whilst process study houses still seek senior engineers with prior hydrocarbons experience in the main, major contractors are being far more flexible and are encouraging applications from engineers from other sectors (chemicals, pharma, environmental) with experience of basic unit operations (solvent recovery, distillation, reaction systems) who are familiar with design including P&ID’s and mass/energy balance development looking to make the transfer across the sectors. Applications are welcome from staff engineers looking to capitalise on the contract opportunities available.
