Structural Design Engineer 0601-125, Negotiable Package (relocation costs paid)
Our client is a young and dynamic engineering company servicing the offshore oil and gas industries. They are currently looking to take on an experienced and ambitious Structural Design Engineer to work in a fast paced, growing company. The successful candidate will have the following attributes; - An Structural Design Engineer with a minimum of 10 years experience (at least 5 of whcih should be offshore related.) - Preferably chartered. - Expertise in FE (Finite Analysis) modeling techniques. - Preferably experience of using SACS and other FE packages. - Marine structural engineering experience desirable. - Experience of mentoring development of junior engineers. - Experience of controlling fast track engineering projects. -Familiarity with API and other industry design standards. - Ability to work independently on small projects or as a leading part of a engineering design team as projects dictate. - Demonstrable ability to think creatively (e.g. holder of patents etc.) A salary commensurate with experience would be offered. Relocation expenses would be paid if neccesary.
