Offshore HSE Supervisor, Negotiable

Position Name: Offshore HSE Supervisor Position Role: HSE support for offshore component of a major LNG capital project in the State of Qatar Position Location: Aberdeen, Scotland for through June 2006, then transfers to EPC contractor Length of Assignment: 3 years Position Description: This position will be part of the Joint Asset Development Team (JADT) and is responsible for offshore production (e.g., three 2000 mt 15-slot WHPs) and pipeline (two 38-inch 65 km long sour gas pipelines) components (e.g. $820MM gross) of the $9.3 Billion gross LNG project (e.g., excludes shipping). Offshore production will be operated from onshore facilities requiring close integration with onshore project. This position reports directly to the Offshore Project Manager and functionally to the Project Health, Safety and Environment Manager. HSE resources for the offshore components of the project will functionally report to this position. Key Roles and Responsibilities: Provides SHE support to the Offshore project including platform fabrication, installation and associated pipeline activities from design through commissioning and start-up. Ensures that the components of the project SHE Management System are addressed in all phases of the offshore project dentifies and develops SHE policies and procedures covering project including training and emergency response procedures for H2S operations Provides SHE input to contracts, contractor evaluations/audits and contract execution.
