Our client, a major oil and gas operator, is looking for a degree qualified Environmental & Regulatory Advisor with over 10 years experience in the oil and gas industry. You will work with environmental consultants and the PMT, as necessary, to oversee the preparation of the project's ESIA and EMP. Develop, coordinate client endorsement of, and implement the project's Regulatory Compliance Plan and Environmental Management Plan. Assist the project's SHE Manager in supporting project activities, identifying/implementing appropriate best practices and lessons learned, and providing input to the Environmental Business Planning process. Obtain all identified project permits/licenses/approvals in a timely manner; track/steward the project approvals process and the project's compliance status. Oversee the preparation and stewardship of permit/license/approval compliance plans - where appropriate, interface and coordinate activities with the existing Production Company affiliate. Interface with project design and execution teams to ensure requirements/standards are properly integrated into project designs and implementation plans. Provide input to the SHE&S-related Coordination Procedures for EPC Contractor ITT packages. Provide input for cost and schedule estimates related to the regulatory approvals/compliance process and the development and implementation of the project's EMP, Safety Plan, Health Plan, and other SHE&S Plans. Work with EPC contractors to ensure the development of appropriate and acceptable SHE&S plans (e.g., Environmental Management Plans, Waste Management Plans, Spill Response Plans, Socioeconomic Action Plans, Safety Plans, Emergency Preparedness & Response Plans, Security Plans, Health Plans) applicable to their scope of work.
