Re: deforestation of the Amazon

hey there,

 

i'm really so sorry for disturbing all of you like this... assuming any of these email accounts are still active.

 

i received a petition about the deforestation of the Amazon. i did add my name and pass it on as i was instructed, but, i wanted more information and to verify what i was reading.

i tried emailing the address posted of the person i'm assuming the petition began with, but my email was just sent right back to me. that got me thinking, wondering how old the email was... so i did a search online of the name of the first person on the petition. it came up with piles of hits... but all of them were the same thing... copies of that same petition... some of them dating back to the year 2000.

 

many of the sites that came up had the email addresses posted of other people who had forwarded the petition on, and this is how i found your email addresses. i figured the worst that could happen is that no one would respond to this, but the best case scenario would be that one of you would actually know what we had all forwarded and how things actually turned out with that petition.

 

seeing how i found your email addresses, if you weren't aware they could be found so easily by random people, should be a good example of why i'm trying to trace what happened and what i just added my own name to.

 

sorry for all the hassel, just looking for answers...
