heimdal KDC hangs looking up principal (0.1m through 0.2g at least)

Also reproduced with multiple versions of Berkeley DB (1.85, 2.4.14, 2.7.5, 
2.7.7).

Unfortunately it looks like I don't have full debugging symbols... guess 
another rebuild is in order.  :-/
