On 06/12/2004, granddaughter of Mr. Rasik Mankechand Dhariwal tied the knot in Pune’s posh Koregaon Park, but Dhariwal most commonly associated with gutka and cinema awards was nowhere to be seen. All enquirers were told he was away on business. Including the Mumbai police. So Crime Branch sleuths waited for him at the Chhatrapati Shivaji International Airport for two days, monitoring all arrivals from Dubai, which Dhariwal was purportedly visiting on business. But Dhariwal did not turned up and so the police / C B I investigation of the gutka baron-underworld nexus effectively remained where it has been for the past four month on the shelf. Suddenly case was handed over to the prime investigation agency of India i.e. “Central Bureau of Investigation” at jet speed for open secret. Dhariwal returned back to India on 02/04/2005 and appeared before Central Bureau of Investigation at Delhi on 04/04/2005. Officials of C B I asked numerous questions. During investigation.......
