Fredrik's Jukebox
This is music I made some time around 1995 using ScreamTracker
3 for MS DOS. Since you probably won't remember
ScreamTracker, I have converted the modules to MP3 files. The
sound quality isn't that good, but we didn't have quality back
then. The music style is a bit melodramatic, but I didn't have
taste back then. Or now.
- A Fugitive in Cairo
- This is the first module I ever made. Try not to laugh.
- Spring Depression
- Yes, most of my music is in a minor key. Don't know which one, though.
- Friday Night in Stockholm
- I don't know; too happy, too slow.
- Some
- Well, some songs never got proper names. Naming songs feels
kinda silly when they don't have lyrics. But this one has a nice
sliding thing going on, and I am a bit proud of the fade at the end.
- 60's
- Some songs I never knew how to end.
- Fatal Mutation
- My attempt at Heavy Metal. At least the song is long enough to be Metal.
- Piano
- I'd like to see someone try to play this. I just wish the ending wasn't crap.
- Grim
- Syncopation, baby!
- Terror
- It ends very abruptly. Someone must have declared a war on it.
- Hystery
- Concise, faux-old-fashioned.
- Proud
- Well, it sounds like the the song is proud of something.
- Grottvandring
- Ah, this is my favourite, I think.
S3M module files
Oh, and if you want to save your bandwidth by downloading the
S3M files instead, I have them here. Many modern
music players can still play them.
