What is Noble Moor?

Noble Moor is an Othello/Reversi game (Svenska Othelloförbundet (Swedish Othello Society)) for the 3COM Palm Pilot and compatibles. It is licensed with the GNU General Public License.

Philosophy

I know there are several other Othello games for the Palm, a couple of them freeware. Is this one superior to them? I can't say as I have promised myself not to glance at my competitors.

I know books are written on the subject of computer Othello, but reading them would take the fun out of this project. I'd rather come up with my own algorithms. (This may change when I realize I won't get any further.)
