Subject: Hello folks... filesystem support

Hi everybody, I'm Tony, a new member of the list. My specialisation within
system programming has so far been mostly "toolmaking" -- utilities, device
drivers, meta-tools (macros etc.).

Here's yet another suggestion for the project. VMS shares a lot of its
user interface with other operating systems by DEC (RT-11, RSX, RSTS, etc.),
and I bet most people around here love these systems, too! So, why don't
we implement support for their filesystems? ODS-1 would be 99% the same
as ODS-2; RT-11 is VERY simple, and may even be implemented in full before
the bugs are worked out of ODS-2 support... don't know much about RSTS,
sorry.
