Not here, but I've noticed someone on news:comp.so.vms indicating he
is starting a 'SolarMoon' project, in an attempt to get a free version
of OpenVMS kick-started. He did suggest that http://www.solarmoon.org/
would be in action RSN, but there's no DNS entry as yet ...

Hello,

I have started a new project to make an VMS operating system for PC's.
The operating system is not being built to run software from the VAX
machines, but it is being built on VMS internal concepts. I am
currently
looking for shell and kernel programmers for the project. Please
respond
by email for the sake of the comp.sys.dec folks. Thanks.

Http://www.SolarMoon.org will be up in the next few weeks.

-Solar Moon

Hmmm.

Don't know much about what he has in mind, but I'd welcome anything
which helps get some activity going. Hopefully we'll soon know more
about what SolarMoon is all about (solarmoon.org is already
registered, although www.solarmoon.org doesn't resolve yet).
