Wastelands is an aftermath game. An alien race called 'byrr' have
taken earth for unknown purposes and crushed humanity. Survivors not
captured and forced to work for byrr in the cities, live in the
wastelands where technology has dropped to a pre-industrial
level. Films like Mad Max: The Road Warrior, describe the world
excellently.
