The stay at Roanoke was great, it was our first motel and we discovered that motels are cheaper than Youth Hostels. You just have to find the Travelers Discount Coupons and everything is affordable.

Later we went on a little detour up north to see the Natural Bridge, a great... well, natural bridge. The national parks up here in the Appalachians are beautiful.
