Zion National Park lies just north of Grand Canyon, yet the scenery is quite different. Here there are lots of small trails and during the not so dry period the waterfalls are quite pretty if you can believe the pictures on the postcards. Still, even during the dry season it is a very beautiful park and well worth visiting.
