What is the novel about?
It's about people. I said I would write "social realism in a science fiction setting" when I started writing, but since I'm more liberal than socialist I have no idea what it really turned out to be. Social realism is by the way an artistic movement mainly within the visual arts, which I was fully aware of when I set the "genre". Yes, it includes a strike. No, it doesn't involve aliens.

Why not? I don't expect to make money out of it, so I can as well let people use it for whatever they want as long as they credit me and let others do the same with any derivative work. Simply put: I just want the fame, because there won't be any fortune in it :-)

No, not much. I never seem to be able to do that.

This is really starting to get a bit repetitive, isn't it? Maybe I should have a general FAQ for some of these questions...
