The St. John's-Dixie cemetary at the corner of Hwy 5(Dundas Hwy) and Cawthra Road contains the Dixie Union Church, now renamed Cody Chapel. I believe Cody himself was born in the area. I'm sure that Canadian members of the family (some of whom I believe are on the 'net should be able to provide more info. A multitude of relatives lived there then, and some still live there, the oldest about my age. I hope to connect Isaac Cody (father of Buffalo Bill) as a sibling of David Cody (father of a Hannah Cody who married James Donnelly in Indiana, about 1860). David Cody's parents were Joseph Cody (1769-1832) and Katherine Kane (1767-1842). I do not know who Isaac Cody's parents were, but am hoping they are the same as David's. David Cody was born in Onondaga Co, New York, according to the LDS Ancestral File database. Thank you for any assistance.
