Re: Incremental propagation and kadmin merge

After having upgraded to the latest version 0.4f I do get a much better

incremental propagation after a kadmin merge now works, only on the client
side the log does not get updated afterwards.

The master reports in the syslog
18:01:46 afs99 ipropd-master[7492]: [ID 702911 auth.error] error reading
message from iprop/afs98.dom.ain@DOM.AIN: End of file
The client reports
Aug 19 18:03:14 afs98 ipropd-slave[26440]: [ID 702911 auth.error]
kadm5_log_replay: Operation failed for unspecified reason

>cat slaves-stats
Status for slaves, last updated: 2002-08-19 17:53:53

Master version: 58

Name Address Version Status Last
iprop/afs98.dom.ain@DOM.AIN IPv4: 58 Up
2002-08-19 18:03:15

while the client keeps telling
nop: ver = 47, timestamp = 2002-08-19 17:52:04, len = 0

After killing and restarting the slave, the version on the master
did increase by 4, dump_log on the client hangs and
with every transaction on the master (which is transferred properly) the
file log becomes bigger:
add principal
-rw------- 1 root other 3384 Aug 19 18:01 log
delete principal
-rw------- 1 root other 7584 Aug 19 18:03 log
