Re: need more explanation on krb4->krb5 conversion



The documentation says:

"Fortunately, the KDC has a trump on hand: it can easily tell if a
principal exists in the database. The KDC will use
krb5_425_conv_principal_ext to convert principals when handling to version
4 requests."

Sorry, what is krb5_425_conv_principal_ext? The document doesn't say one
has to create any such!

Is it created automagically? When? When the new krb5 database is
initialized? Or during hpropd import step? I thought hpropd just overwrites
blindly the file used by heimdal KDC.
