If you want to run autoreconf you _MUST_ have all dependencies
(autoconf, automake, libtool, and any external libraries that provide an
external M4 configuration fragment - not sure if Heimdal uses any)
installed.

If you just want to compile the software then neither autoconf, automake
or libtool are neccessary.

This has nothing to do with libtool but rather the way autoconf works.
