Who are we?

We are six students from The Royal Institute of Technology who want to see the world.

Adam, the youngest in this group, is one of those guys who tend to get too much to do and not enough time to do it.
Right now he is part time studying, part time working (in his own firm), part time spinning (it's a kind of workout that you do on a trainingbike) and bodybuilding and also playing around with other projects. On his spare time Adam likes to read fantasy novels, sleep and play cool, mindthrilling, bloody computer games...
He has a lot of fine qualities but the most useful is the fact that he can type the whole Swedish alphabet (29 characters) in just 1.92 seconds... very useful indeed.

Max, who has created these pages, mostly for his own amusement, but also as a challenge, to learn new things and, of course, to create the coolest site ever.
Although he is the oldest one in the group he will not be the first one to graduate, mostly due to excessive work. He work here at the school as a system administrator and also teach in the introductory course in computer science at the School of Electrical Engineering and School of Computer Science, and has done so for three years now.
Like the majority of us, he is studying for a Masters degree in Computer Science and hopefully will get it some day, Real Soon NowTM.
Some of his interests are travels, mountainbiking, film, good food and enjoying life. He expect that all of these interests will be seen to during the Trip.

Nicklas is the uncrowned king of bad puns.
He was the last one to join this group of young travellers. After a long time of whining about the cost he realized that, part from the long romantic journey he and his girlfriend is going to make someday, this was the most important trip of his life.
Nicklas is, like most others, quite skilled with computers but, apart from most others, he has no interest in working with them after school. Instead he is working on his masters degree in electrical engineering and hopes to graduate whithin the next half-life of Carbon-14 or so...

Patrik, who joined The Trip because of his need to discover new places, and to make new friends from all over the United States.
With over five years of studies at the Royal Institute of Technology, he is the "veteran" of the group. His goal is to achieve a Masters degree in Computer Science before the end of year 2000.
At the moment he work at the support center at the School of Electrical Engineering, helping students with computer related problems. He also teach in the mandatory course Programing Paradigms at the School of Computer Science.
On his sparetime Patrik likes to travel, playing bandy and badminton, and playing the guitarr. Other things of his interests are sketching, writing poetry, and discuss with friends.

Ronnie is perhaps the most confused of all the members of the group. Just the fact that he once chose to study economics is a proof of that. Nowadays his focus has converged towards Computer Science and that explains why he has ended up in this trip.
When he is not engaged with his studies he enjoys juggling or running.

Stefan is something of an outsider in this group. All the others are in some sense computer nerds, which Stefan believes himself not to be. Instead he's been studying industrial economics and management during the last two years. The two years before that he doesn't want to be held responsible for.
Although he doesn't wan't to admit it, Stefan has been working as a webdesigner for a Swedish company during the last year. This obviously makes him a "computer nerd" too.
The biggest problem for Stefan at the moment is how he will be able to afford to go on this trip, buy a motorcycle and at the same time keep his car.
